Pharmacists? Running a clinic?

Yes! Pharmacists are midlevel practitioners, meaning we have training similar to physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others. The bonus is that pharmacists are the medication specialists of the healthcare team, so we are always thinking about possible medication interactions, side effects, and more! This also means that you could see us as your prescriber, and then you’ll have the ability to pick up your prescription in the same building or have it sent to your pharmacy of choice. In Idaho, pharmacists are able to prescribe for common ailments to help alleviate the pressures on other providers in our region.
